What segregation?
Nonsense! Put perished and non perishable items in a plastic bag
and dump it in the garbage cart.
All the government
departments Srinivasan pay a lump sum amount. They come here and hand over
certificates.
There are no geysers
in A C or bath attached rooms. If you want hot water you pay RS 10
for one bucket of water. Not every room has showers. Not every toilet hand
faucet for washing your ass. There is only one "Lotta" mug for
washing your ass. Same mug you use for washing your face and taking a
bath. If you see a bucket and mug you will not take a bath. Bore well water
will have scales deposited in a bucket and mug.
For an extra person he
charges RS 200/. He will not provide bedding. Say let them adjust three persons
in two beds. Charge is for an extra person not for bed. Guests will have to
complain or fight for bed.
Bed sheets are not
changed every time guests check out. Turn the bed sheet and tighten it.
Only when guests complain about a bad smell will the bed sheet be charged.
Saving money on water and detergents. Room boy Venkatesh won't even mop or
sweep after guests check out. He just tightens the bed sheets and pours one mug
of water in the toilet. Check under the cot you will find dust gathered over
the months. Now don't ask me what the fuck I am doing. It is not my duty to
take a stick and poke room boy’s ass and get the work done. It's the room
boys' regular job to clean under the cot . They should do their duty.
When asked he says the room looks good. He is saving water and detergent
money for Srinivasan.
Here I wrote a few samples to prove my points. In 15 years of life at Sri Gopal
Nivas lodge I can write hundreds of problems about Srinivasan and Gopal Nivas
lodge. And he is finding fault with me. It's like our old proverb. “If you
get beaten up by a thug on the street you go home and beat up your mother"
he thought that I am an unclaimed body and I will never ever retaliate. His
wrong judgment about me is going to cost him in millions of rupees.
Srinivasan is a man
with criminal characters. He promotes room boys with
criminal character. After I go to the room at 9.30 pm Mani and other
room boy Venkatesh use our kitchen as a bar. Now his friend Mani is back
on duty. They drink at night after I leave for the room. Those illiterate room
boys are from low life. He sells scrap items to buy liquor. All of them
drink on duty. Unless tips are given no room service. How can I get work
done when Srinivasan is paying more salary to room boys than manager?
Now Venkatesh is still working. He is a 30 years old guy. His mother is mental,
staying at a government old age orphanage. He never visits his mother .He
is the pet room boy of Srinivasan .He is scum on earth. He is the one supplying
liquor for guests. He also gives room for prostitutes. He gets tips. Eat
leftover food and drinks in the guest room. He picked up a loose character
staying in the lodge and took her to the terrace room. I told him to keep
his fucking business out of lodge and check out lady from the room. He
takes the guest phone number from the register. Ring up and demand Rs 300
or 500 to be sent to him by G pay. Venkatesh was kicked out of duty twice
for not doing his duty. He went and worked for Construction Company. When
he comes back and begs for a job. Both his legs below the knee skin were peeled
off due to cement allergy. He went to Srinivasan house and fell at his
feet to get back his job. He works on night duty. He sleeps without even
locking the main gate, watches a whole night pirated version of a new
movie or porn. Chat with loose characters on chat messenger or zoom in
till 3 or 4 am. On duty he goes out with them. He comes for duty at 10.30
or 11 am. Who will give room service in the morning? Once he slept
without locking the main gate. Morning guest tried to wake him up to vacate the
room. He didn't get up. Guest dropped the room key on the reception table and
left without paying A C Charge. I asked Venkatesh to pay the amount for his
mistake. He refused to pay. I am the one giving the account to srinivasan. He
will not ask Venkatesh. He will tell Venkatesh is the only room boy and it's my
responsibility. To avoid his shouting I put RS 1000/ from my pocket. The other
day I went to the bank. Venkatesh checked out the guests. He miscalculated the
total number of days for the bill and I had to put one day's rent for that
guest from my pocket. Srinivasan is keeping Venkatesh only to hold his
balls. Even Srinivasan cannot get work done by Venkatesh. Who will pay for useless
worker? Only srinivasan. Srinivasan goes out of station for a function or to
visit a temple. On duty Venkatesh take room and stay with prostitutes in some
lodge. Now don't ask me, did you hold a candle for them? Low life guy like him
is proud of his “achievement" he tells his friends and they come and
complaint that on duty he going out with prostitutes. I never complain to
srinivasan. He will ask me “did you see it?
Srinivasan says you don't know how to “extract" work from room
boys. Should I sit with them and drink or give money as and when
they ask for it for free? When he pays more salary than me, how can I get
work done? He wants me to go with a scavenger when he cleans guest
bathrooms and toilets. When the room boys ready the room he wants me to
supervise them. Do you take sticks and poke assays of workers to get their
work done? Who will attend phone calls and the reception desk?
All the room boys know their work. If not, we train them. They should know
their work responsibility and do it without anyone forcing them.
This is how you should get done by room boys
Write down a list of works to be carried out in the guest room by room boys
1. Clear A C air filter. Wipe out AC with clean clothes
2. Clean fan
3. Clean spider web
4. Clean TV
5. Clean shelf
6. Clean bathroom and toilet
7. Sweep and mop floors
8. Change bed sheets and pillow covers
