Synopsis

Ajay, the twenty-four-year-old heir to Dax Airways—one of India’s largest private airlines—has his life planned out: finish his MBA, take over the family empire, and settle down. But during a trip to Chennai for a friend’s wedding, fate intervenes. He falls deeply in love with Maya, a young woman from a middle-class family. Following a passionate whirlwind romance, the two decide to marry.

Their dynamic future shatters on the drive back to Chennai when a devastating car crash leaves Ajay dead from fatal head trauma and Maya fighting for her life. Refusing to accept his son’s death, Ajay’s billionaire father surreptitiously ships his body to a facility in the U.S., cryogenically preserving him until medical science can catch up.

Devastated and alone, Maya discovers she is pregnant with Ajay’s child. Rejecting her family’s demands for an abortion, she flees to Madurai, seeking refuge in a local orphanage. She gives birth to a daughter, Sandhya, but is eventually forced by her parents to return home on one condition: she must be allowed to visit her child. Heartbroken, Maya leaves Sandhya under the sanctuary’s care.

Years pass. Maya completes her degree in software engineering and takes a job in Bangalore, visiting Sandhya whenever possible. But tragedy strikes again when Maya arrives in Madurai to find Sandhya missing. The trauma sends Maya into a severe mental breakdown requiring six months of treatment. Defeated, she surrenders to her family’s wishes, marries a senior MNC executive via an arranged match, and moves to Delhi, resigning herself to a quiet, loveless life.

Twenty-five years later (A.D. 2030)...

Breakthroughs in nanotechnology and robotic surgery allow medical pioneers to replace Ajay's damaged brain tissue with advanced neural microchips. Ajay wakes up physically and mentally healed. For his aging parents, twenty-five years have slipped away; for Ajay, the accident happened just six months ago. Trapped in the body and mind of a twenty-four-year-old in a unfamiliar world, his heart remains anchored to Maya.

Despite his parents begging him to let go of the past, Ajay makes one final plea: allow him to visit Chennai one last time to trace Maya’s footsteps. His search leads to dead ends, and a heartbroken Ajay boards a flight back, unaware that fate is already orchestrating their reunion.

When their commercial airliner crash-lands, Ajay risks everything to save the passengers—unwittingly rescuing Maya and her new family from the wreckage. Faced with the ghost of her past, Maya must confront the truth of the love she buried long ago.

Can two souls separated by a quarter-century of time, secrets, and tragedy reignite their lost flame? And can they uncover the truth behind what happened to their lost daughter, Sandhya?
